This page describes how Dynasty Hockey handles data based on the implemented product inventory. It is not legal advice.
What we collect
Gameplay progress — saved dynasties, achievements, collection, preferences, and VS journal entries (device-local; may sync when signed in).
Account identity — public username, display name, and sign-in provider links. Email is used for authentication only and is not shown as your public username.
Optional analytics — anonymous product events when PostHog is configured. You can opt out in-app. Session replay is off.
What we do not collect for public display
OAuth access or refresh tokens (never stored in Dynasty databases or localStorage).
Provider legal names as your Dynasty username.
Precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone data.
Where data lives
Your device — guest and signed-in progress is local-first in browser storage.
Cloud (when enabled) — Supabase Postgres with row-level security for account sync.
Credential bridge — Firebase may be used only to obtain sign-in tokens; Dynasty does not store Firebase sessions.
Retention
Guest data remains on your device until you clear site data. Signed-in cloud data is deleted when you delete your account. Hosting logs may retain standard HTTP metadata for a limited operational period.
Your choices
Play as Guest without an account.
Export local data from Support (in-app).
Opt out of product analytics in the Privacy panel.
Delete your account permanently (not deactivation).
